I glanced down at him and forced my expression to soften. “Get in the car with your brothers, baby. I’ll be right there.”
“I don’t like him,” Noah whispered.
Blake heard him.
For the first time since I had known him, Blake Harrington looked hurt by a child.
Lucas and Eli climbed into the Bentley reluctantly. Noah followed last, continuing to watch Blake through the open door.
When Daniel closed it, the tinted windows separated my children from the past.
Only then did I turn to face Blake completely.
“Yes,” I said. “They’re yours.”
He remained motionless.
A gust of wind tugged at my coat. Behind him, his security team began gathering, unsure whether to approach. Blake raised one hand without turning around, and they stopped.
His voice fell to a whisper.
– Estabas embarazada.
– Sí.
– ¿Cuándo?
Lo miré.
“¿Realmente necesitas que explique la línea de tiempo?”
