“This is a public community hospital funded by municipal taxes, and I have every legal right to address this room,” Brenda replied evenly without stepping back.
Dr. Patricia observed Brenda with sharp, assessing eyes before offering a firm nod of official permission.
“You have three minutes to speak to this assembly, ma’am,” Dr. Patricia said, folding her hands and stepping back from the podium.
Brenda took the microphone, her voice echoing clearly off the high marble walls of the auditorium.
